What does it mean to be a community manager? Our community managers are experienced in building community and managing spaces. Most importantly, they are people people! They love meeting new people, helping local professionals and helping our members make the most out of their membership and space! Meet our community managers below.

 

Meet Our Team

  • Jon Harol Owner and Operator

    Jon opened Coworking Station in April of 2016 and is also the co-owner of Lighthouse Recruiting, Laboratory Start-Up Consultants, and Laboratory Broker. Jon and his wife Jenny have been married since 2002 and live in Holly Springs, NC with their six children. He’s an active member of the Hope Community Church and enjoys reading, coaching his kids’ sports teams, trying new things, and being outdoors. Jon is passionate about social entrepreneurship and, by giving a 15% discount to nonprofits, hopes to facilitate a place where for-profits and nonprofits to work together to create a better world. All four of Jon’s companies have pledged 1% of their time, revenue, and product to charity.

  • Ashley Thompson Community Manager - North Carolina

    Ashley graduated from North Carolina State University in 2015 with a degree in Program Management. During her time at NC State, she had the opportunity to intern with a co working space in Raleigh and her love for the unique collaboration and event opportunity grew while she was there. She went on to work at an event venue, where she gained experience in the events industry planning a wide variety of events, everything from corporate gatherings to weddings. Ashley is passionate about building lasting relationships with people and is excited to be a part of the exciting growth happening in the Holly Springs/Apex area. Ashley is a native of Apex, NC and her husband was raised in Holly Springs, so they both have a heart for these communities. Ashley enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and visiting local restaurants.

  • Kim Knight Community Manager/Owner - Massachusetts

    Kim has been a certified Interior Designer in the Healthcare Industry for over 20 years. Kim decided to channel her drive to start her own business. Because of her background and knowledge, she knows how important it is to work in an enriching environment surrounded by pleasing aesthetics as well as other passionate working professionals. Kim is excited for the launch of Coworking Station of Walpole and looking forward to bringing other professionals and small businesses together, creating a space for collaboration in a supportive work environment. Being a Walpole resident, she hopes to bring more of the Walpole and surrounding communities together to build a strong support system in town. Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, watching her kids’ sports games and running.
