Coworking Station opened in downtown Holly Springs, NC in Spring of 2016, but it had been a plan for the town for much longer. With the need for coworking spaces growing, our team jumped at the chance.
Our team loves the collaboration and community-feel of the coworking concept. We’re excited to see the networking and success Coworking Station can help provide for its members, and we enjoy seeing the creativity and innovation our occupants produce.
Coworking Station is the effort of three people: Jon Harol (Owner and Operator), Tara Luellen (Director of Operations), and Christine Williams (Community Coordinator).
Jon opened Coworking Station in April of 2016 and is also the co-owner of Lighthouse Recruiting, Laboratory Start-Up Consultants, and Laboratory Broker. Jon and his wife Jenny have been married since 2002 and live in Holly Springs, NC with their six children. He’s an active member of the Hope Community Church and enjoys reading, coaching his kids’ sports teams, trying new things, and being outdoors. Jon is passionate about social entrepreneurship and, by giving a 15% discount to nonprofits, hopes to facilitate a place where for-profits and nonprofits to work together to create a better world. All four of Jon’s companies have pledged 1% of their time, revenue, and product to charity.
Tara graduated at the top of her class with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky in 2009. After graduate school, she accepted a position as a behavior therapist at an in-patient rehabilitation center for those suffering from traumatic brain injuries. She moved to the Raleigh area in early 2011 and practiced outpatient psychology at a neuropsychological private practice for five years. She loves interacting with people and is excited to see all of the collaboration and networking that Coworking Station facilitates. Tara lived in Holly Springs previously but is now residing with her boyfriend of four years, Matt, in Apex, NC. Matt has a daughter, Lilly, of whom they are both very proud. Tara enjoys reading, watching movies, playing video games, hiking, and being outdoors in her free time.
Christine joined Coworking Station as the Community Coordinator in November 2016. She has a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Christine has a background in digital, content and social media marketing. Most recently she served as the Marketing Director for the Wilmington REALTOR® Association along with all of their event spaces. After 12 year in Wilmington, NC, Christine recently relocated back to the Triangle. She is excited to be part of the growth in the Holly Springs/Apex area. In her free time Christine loves to do yoga, eat at local restaurants, blog, paddle board, travel, and spend time with her family.
